BLDG.Community is a membership community provided by BLDG.Systems, a sole proprietorship (referred to as "we," "us," and "our"). These Membership Terms apply to all members of BLDG.Community. When we refer to "you" and "your," we mean the individual member of BLDG.Community.
While these terms may feel formal, they're important and legally binding. If you need them in another format, please contact us at community@bldg.systems.
We may update these Membership Terms at any time by adding, amending, or removing clauses. Please review them periodically, as changes may occur without direct notice. If you do not agree to these Membership Terms, please let us know so we can cancel your membership.
1.1 In these Membership Terms, the following definitions apply:
1.2 BLDG.Community is currently free to join. We may in the future offer optional paid features (for example, 1:1 advisory sessions). Any such paid feature will have its own price and terms, communicated to you at the time it is offered, and these Membership Terms do not by themselves create any payment obligation.
2.1 By obtaining and continuing Membership, you agree to be bound by these Membership Terms.
2.2 A breach of these Terms may result in suspension or cancellation of your Membership.
3.1 Features will be constantly revisited and improved based on the interaction with you. Main features provided may include:
3.2 We strive to provide these Features as described but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access due to factors outside our control (e.g., third-party providers).
3.3 We may adjust or update Features, provided the core nature and quality of the offerings remain intact.
4.1 You agree not to share or distribute any materials, resources, or benefits provided as part of the Membership with non-members.
4.2 You agree not to share your login credentials with others.
4.3 You agree to act respectfully and in accordance with the Code of Conduct shared on the Platform.
5.1 Membership is free of charge and continues until cancelled by you or by us.
5.2 You may cancel your Membership at any time by following the steps detailed on the Platform or by giving us notice at community@bldg.systems. Cancellation takes effect immediately, and no fees apply.
5.3 We may suspend or cancel your Membership if you violate these Terms or the Code of Conduct.
5.4 If we introduce a paid feature in the future, its own terms (including any cancellation and refund conditions specific to that feature) will be communicated to you at the time it is offered.
6.1 We will deliver Features with reasonable care and skill but cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results and are not responsible for any decisions you make based on the information shared within BLDG.Community.
6.2 We are not liable for losses caused by third-party services or technical disruptions beyond our control.
6.3 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage arising from your Membership, the Features, or your use of the Platform, whether direct, indirect, or consequential.
7.1 Upon cancellation, you will lose access to the Platform and Features.
7.2 Your obligations under section 4 remain in effect after your Membership ends for whatever reason.
8.1 All intellectual property within BLDG.Community, including training materials and resources, remains owned by us or our third-party providers.
8.2 Membership does not grant you any rights to use this intellectual property outside of the Membership.
9.1 BLDG.Community is built on trust. Members are encouraged to share openly, to whatever extent they feel comfortable with.
9.2 Any information shared by another member within the community, whether in discussions, Q&A sessions, live calls, or elsewhere on the Platform, is shared in confidence. You agree not to repeat, share, screenshot, or attribute such information outside the community without that member's consent.
9.3 This obligation continues after your Membership ends, for whatever reason.
10.1 Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11.1 Assignment: Membership cannot be transferred without prior written consent.
11.2 Severance: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
11.3 Waiver: Failure or delay in enforcing any provision of these Membership Terms does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.
11.4 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by Dutch law, and disputes will be resolved in Dutch courts.
